Job summary

Brit is seeking a Capital Modelling Actuary to maintain and develop its capital modelling capabilities, support the Risk Management Framework, and deliver regulatory capital submissions. You will own key components of the capital model and work with ERM, Finance, and Underwriting to translate outputs into actionable insights for senior stakeholders and regulators.

What you'll be doing

As a Capital Modelling Actuary, you'll help maintain and develop Brit's capital modelling capabilities, supporting our Risk Management Framework and the delivery of regulatory capital submissions and clear internal management information. You'll take day to day ownership of key components of the capital model and work closely with the Senior Actuary, other actuaries and analysts to make sure outputs are accurate, timely and useful.

You will work with colleagues across ERM, Risk Aggregation, Actuarial, Finance and Underwriting, turning complex capital outputs into clear insights for senior stakeholders, committees, Boards and regulators. You'll also support capital related training and strategic projects across capital management, business planning, reinsurance, risk appetite and portfolio optimisation, while identifying practical ways to improve efficiency without compromising governance or control.
