Job description

Join the Revolution in Car Finance

At Carmoola, we're changing the way people get on the road - making it faster, fairer, and entirely built around the customer. We've started with car finance, reimagining it from the ground up with a seamless, digital experience that puts drivers in control.

Since launch, we've raised over £430m from top-tier investors (including QED), helped over 11,000 customers get behind the wheel - and we're scaling fast.

To take things to the next level, we're looking for a curious, sharp, and driven Treasury & Capital Markets Analyst to scale our young and fast-growing Capital Markets group.

Your Mission

You will be responsible for the structuring, implementation, and management of our debt facilities as well as supporting our fundraising activities - from establishing and running our liquidity and hedging strategy, to driving our long-term capital market objectives, while managing relationships with key stakeholders (lenders, investors, etc). You'll assist the Director of Capital Markets and will have significant autonomy and responsibility from day one, with the opportunity to define what Capital Markets at Carmoola really means.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in high-stakes, fast-paced environments, thinks commercially, and demonstrates strong analytical skills. The Capital Markets Group works closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver key funding and capital solutions to support Carmoola's growth.

Requirements
What You'll Be Doing
  • Treasury & Liquidity Management - establish and manage strategy, oversee daily liquidity position
  • Debt Facilities Management - monitor debt covenants and triggers, report to servicers/investors, address lender questions, negotiate and execute facilities
  • Hedging - manage all interest rate hedging activities
  • Capital Markets strategy - develop and monitor short and long-term strategies; analyze market conditions; engage with banks, funds, and asset managers
  • Capital markets modeling and analysis - build models (cash flow, dashboards), prepare and present analyses
  • Equity raise - prepare materials and support discussions, negotiations, and execution
What You'll Bring
  • Experience in Capital Markets or Structured Finance, ideally from a top-tier consulting firm, investment bank, rating agency, or fast-growth startup
  • Innovative mindset - proactive in identifying and securing opportunities
  • Strong analytical skills - clear thinking, structured problem-solving, calm under pressure
  • Modeling skills - proficient in Excel, Hex, Python, AI, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills - confident externally, collaborative internally, influential
  • Autonomous and motivated - ownership mindset, fast execution, thorough follow-through

Genuine excitement for Carmoola's mission and the opportunity to shape the future of mobility.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary of £80-100k
  • Hybrid work: 3 days in our London office in Primrose Hill
  • High-impact role with growth potential - shape and expand your responsibilities by delivering results
  • Culture of trust, kindness, and ownership - move fast, support each other, enjoy the ride
