Scope

Responsibilities

Working within the 25-strong Commercial Research team, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of market research and thought leadership covering the UK real estate investment markets. You will enhance the quality and insights in our public-facing research and ensure our clients and prospects are exposed to our market knowledge.

Capital markets research involves analyzing buying and selling activities related to commercial real estate.

You will work across multiple stakeholders, creating narratives that go beyond data to highlight implications for investors and market participants. You will disseminate research compellingly and be a core contributor to Knight Frank’s UK capital markets research. The role centers on commercial real estate investment markets.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing insights on real estate capital markets, economics, and occupier trends through commentary, thought leadership, and updates for stakeholders
  • Engaging directly with clients, presenting analysis and commentary
  • Line managing one Capital Markets Analyst
  • Responding to time-sensitive requests
  • Prioritizing tasks across departments and stakeholders
  • Managing content for the capital markets portal of the Knight Frank Intelligence Lab and overseeing the internal SharePoint page
  • Being a spokesperson for UK Capital Markets research

Qualifications/Education Required
  • Degree qualified, with aptitude for quantitative techniques, analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to draw conclusions from data analysis and communicate clearly
  • Interest in working with capital markets and other Knight Frank teams
  • Interest in news, current affairs, and their link to the real estate investment market
