Capital Markets Operations Analyst
We are looking for a Capital Markets Operations Analyst in our Capital Markets Operational team.
Are you a numerate and results-oriented individual with a passion for finance and a knack for using data to make informed decisions? If so, we're seeking a talented individual to join our Capital Markets Operations team as a Capital Markets Operations Analyst.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team on day-to-day operations, handling a wide range of responsibilities that encompass data analysis, transaction monitoring, relationship management and completing daily client money reconciliations for our institutional investors.
The CMO team work alongside our Capital Markets, Finance and Operation teams to onboard Institutional Investors and provide daily management and portfolio reporting across funding facilities

The role

  • Financial Operations: Conduct transaction monitoring, perform daily and monthly CASS reconciliations, identify and mitigate client money risks, and support investor due diligence and audits.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare daily/monthly investor reports with portfolio data, cash flows, and trends; utilize strong analytical skills to identify data anomalies and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Investor Relations: Promptly log and address investor queries with excellent communication and customer service.
  • Process Improvement & Documentation: Identify and contribute to streamlining operations, support new investor onboardings, and produce/maintain up-to-date procedure documents and transaction summaries.
  • Technical Proficiency: Apply advanced Excel skills (formulas, functions, data analysis) to manage large datasets and identify/log operational errors.

What we're looking for

  • Financial & Analytical Acumen: Experience in a finance role (or newly qualified), with strong data interpretation, trend identification, and problem-solving skills using analytical insights.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, functions, data analysis) or experience with SQL/Tableau.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional teamwork.
  • Work Ethic & Integrity: High attention to detail, accuracy, strong work ethic, and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
  • Growth Mindset: Ambitious, motivated, passionate about continuous improvement, with strong investigative skills, eager to contribute to a dynamic fintech environment.
