Vacancy Description

Capital City College (CCC), one of the UK’s largest FE colleges in the UK, is seeking to appoint a Group Principal(Apprenticeships, Partnerships & Innovation). This influential group supports over 38,000 students based across 12 London campuses annually to develop the skills and knowledge to advance their career prospects or progress into higher education. This is done by an unrelenting commitment to curriculum innovation and an obsession with the quality of the student experience, which is underpinned by a resilient and prudent approach to financial management. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will lead the college's strategy across creative, media, digital, hospitality, innovation, apprenticeships and partnership while taking accountability for CCC’s international provision. Your remit is to provide inspirational leadership to ensure CCC meets the needs of students, staff, and employers across London and internationally, with an unwavering focus on the quality of education and the student experience. You will lead curriculum development to align with the needs of key stakeholders while promoting a culture that drives innovation, is inclusive and collaborative, and is set within a sustainable growth-oriented structure.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable evidence of leadership and management in a curriculum role of relevance in a complex and service-led further educational establishment that is commercial in outlook. Importantly, they must be innovative in their thinking capacity, build relationships with consummate ease and have the strategic thinking and planning skills to succeed in a constantly evolving and progressive college structure. Adding to this, they must have the ability to drive a progressive agenda, be purposeful in approach and work as part of an executive leadership team that will shape the long-term careers of its learners.

This role is part of the Group’s Executive Team leading one of the largest FE institutions in the next phase of its development.
