About the role

PwC's national Innovation and Capital Incentives (ICI) team is passionate about helping clients obtain incentives and allowances to support their investment in innovation and capital assets.

We are a diverse, national team based across all regions, with a strong focus on growth. We are looking to recruit a Senior Manager who is passionate about innovation, interested in working with a broad range of large and inbound businesses, and eager to play a direct role in expanding our Capital Allowances business.

What your days will look like:

1. Managing a portfolio of clients and project delivery.
2. Supporting the preparation of Capital Allowance claims for submission to HMRC.
3. Advising on and designing fixed asset technology solutions for various sectors and sizes, from a fixed asset and tax depreciation perspective.
4. Managing client engagements and developing strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
5. Preparing responses to HMRC queries regarding Capital Allowance claims.
6. Advising clients and stakeholders on capital allowances legislation and technical points.
7. Identifying and developing new business opportunities, including proposal development.

This job is for you if:

• You have significant experience working in a tax environment, particularly in Capital Allowances.
• You possess excellent knowledge of tax incentives and experience in preparing Capital Allowances claims.
• You have strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
• You have excellent communication skills, able to liaise effectively with clients, PwC staff, and wider tax teams.
• You have strong analytical skills for numerical analysis of client data.
• You have an interest or experience in international tax depreciation rules and policies.
• You adopt an agile approach to innovation, leveraging technology and continuous improvement.
