Capacity Planning Specialist, Amazon Logistics, Last Mile Delivery

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Planning Team provides volume forecasts and flexible capacity solutions for in-station and on-road operations year-round, enabling the business to scale for events and peaks. Our team is emerging within AMZL, aiming to improve processes, tools, and metric accuracy of capacity planning. We seek someone with strong analytical skills and effective communication skills to support the rapid growth of our logistics network while ensuring the best customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze data and communicate with stakeholders to address business issues.
  2. Build reports, tools, and mechanisms to drive scalable solutions.
  3. Collaborate with product teams for model optimization.
  4. Identify new business growth opportunities.
  5. Execute metric planning processes.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience with Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, Power Pivots, etc.).
  • Experience managing stakeholders across various organizational levels.
  • Business-level English proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience driving process improvements.
  • Business-level Japanese proficiency.
  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Enthusiasm for working in diverse and inclusive teams.
