The Role

We’re looking for a strategic and analytical Capacity Planning Lead to join our Operational Performance & Insight team. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the development and execution of capacity planning strategies that support business growth, operational efficiency, and campaign delivery. You’ll manage a team of capacity analysts and work cross-functionally to ensure data-driven decisions and optimal resource utilisation across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement forward-looking capacity and campaign planning strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead the development of forecasting models and scenario planning to support operational readiness
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align capacity plans with business priorities and service delivery goals
  • Monitor performance metrics and capacity trends to inform strategic decisions
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of three capacity analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Drive innovation in planning processes through data insights and technology adoption

Essential

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in capacity or workforce planning, ideally in a data-rich or service-led environment
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of data governance and modelling
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
  • Advanced Excel skills and a data-driven mindset
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused

Desirable

  • Experience in campaign planning or within the energy/utilities sector
  • Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or VBA
  • Exposure to field-based workforce planning or service delivery environments
