A leading company in the logistics sector is seeking a Capacity Analyst to support its Network Design team. Role Purpose
As a Capacity Analyst, you will play a key role within our Network Design team, maintaining and developing warehouse capacity models that support both operational and strategic decisions across our expansive logistics network. Your insights will directly influence how we plan, scale, and optimise our infrastructure to meet current and future demand.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance network capacity models, ensuring their accuracy and consistency to support forecasting and planning.
Conduct data analysis and reporting to support operational and strategic initiatives, while contributing to the standardisation of datasets and reporting processes to improve efficiency and clarity.
Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and shape future logistics strategy.
Maintain strong working relationships with site teams and key stakeholders across ALS, while collaborating with cross-functional teams including Supply and Commercial.
Use network optimisation tools to simulate different scenarios and improve the efficiency of logistics flows.
Turn complex data into clear, digestible insights and visuals that help stakeholders make informed decisions.
What You’ll Need
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Excel and experience with Power BI for data visualisation and SQL for querying and managing data sets is highly beneficial.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to simplify complex data and present it in a clear, engaging way for different audiences.
Experience using network optimisation tools is a plus, but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Education & Experience
This role is ideal for a person who is eager to grow and contribute from day one. We’re looking for someone with strong foundational skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for learning. A degree is not required but would be preferable.
