Job summary

Booker Group plc in Maidstone is seeking a proactive Canteen Assistant to support daily canteen operations. You will manage stock, perform quality checks, replenish vending machines, and maintain a clean, safe environment across canteen and kitchen areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control and quality checks.
• Knowledge of HACCP, allergen handling and COSHH guidelines.
• Numeracy and literacy skills suitable for shopfloor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock levels and stock control.
• Perform code checks and assess quality of stock.
• Replenish and clean vending machines.
• Support in hospitality duties and canteen housekeeping.
• Follow daily checklists and cleaning schedules.
