Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is seeking a Catering Assistant in the United Kingdom to support kitchen operations and front-of-house service. The role involves assisting in frying fish / chips, food prep, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

You will help ensure high levels of customer service, support stock takes, and manage basic food safety records in a busy canteen environment.

Qualifications

• Well organized.
• Experienced Catering Assistant.
• Customer-focused.
• Driving Licence.
• Willingness to undertake additional duties as required.

Responsibilities

• To ensure all patrons receive a high level of customer service.
• To ensure canteen area is kept clear of obstruction in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
• To maintain the standards FOH.
• Records to be filled in for temperatures (Hot and Cold food and fridges etc).
• Presentation of items FOH.
• Cleaning
• Help with stock takes
• Be alert to any food issues and raise these with Chef/manager at once
• Washing Up
• Any other jobs as required

Make sure that the kitchen and FOH is always clean and tidy.
