Ryman in Crewe is seeking a Canteen Assistant to help prepare fresh food, serve customers at the hot counter, and keep the canteen running smoothly. You will follow hygiene standards and work as part of a friendly team to support busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Help to prepare fresh food such as sandwiches, salads and other canteen favourites.
• Serve colleagues and customers from the hot counter with a friendly and welcoming approach.
• Take payments and handle cash accurately.
• Keep the kitchen, counter and service areas clean, tidy and ready throughout the day.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety and cleanliness standards.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to our colleagues and customers.
• Support the wider catering team to keep service running smoothly, particularly during busy periods.
• Help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience within our Crew(e) Room.
• Get stuck in and support the team wherever needed.
