Position Overview

Working within an industry-leading organization at Finning, the world's largest CAT dealership, your role as a Rebuild Repair Engineer will involve reconditioning and maintenance of Caterpillar products, supporting 2nd life overhauls within the Construction Equipment product group.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections to assess repairs, replacements, and refurbishments.
• Perform diagnosis tests on machine components for accurate cost evaluation and warranty assessments.
• Create parts and materials lists for machine preparation work.
• Overhaul, repair, or refurbish machines according to work plans, including component removal and reinstallation.
• Inspect and test machines post-repair to ensure optimal performance.
