Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Cancer MDT Apprentice to join the team. You will support the Cancer Multi-Disciplinary Team with administrative tasks, arrange lists, and help run MDT meetings while undertaking a Level 3 Business Administration course with West Nottinghamshire College.

The role offers structured development within the Corporate Division, with focus on accuracy, patient data handling, and collaboration across teams in a supportive NHS

Qualifications

GCSE English and Maths at grade 4–9 or equivalent.
Customer care experience.
Good interpersonal and communication.
Strong organisational and teamwork skills.
Ability to prioritise workload and work on own initiative.
Highly motivated, reliable and calm under pressure.
Flexible approach to working arrangements.

Responsibilities

Provide general administrative/clerical support to the Cancer Multi-Disciplinary Team work programme.
Organise lists and retrieve patient case notes.
Assist in operation of MDT meetings ensuring notes are obtained promptly.
Support in preparing video tele-conferencing to other hospitals within the Cancer Network.
Help ensure the smooth administration of Cancer MDT meetings.
