Job summary

Lakes College in West Cumbria is seeking a Facilities Support Officer to join the Sports Facilities team, providing cover and ensuring day-to-day operational tasks are completed safely and efficiently. The role includes maintaining a state-of-the-art 3G pitch, 2 gyms, a sports hall and fitness area, with regular inspections and cleaning, and working a rota including evenings and weekends.

Applicants should have at least 5 GCSEs including Maths & English and a customer-service background;

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs (including Maths & English) or equivalent.
• Sports or Leisure Qualification desirable.
• Health & Safety First Aid certificate desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide cover to ensure day-to-day operational tasks of the Sports Facilities are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain facilities to high standard through regular inspections and cleaning.
• Work on a rota including evenings and weekends; collaborate with Duty Officer.
