Qualifications

• Pass DOT drug & alcohol testing as required.
• Valid operator’s license required.
• Ability to interact courteously with the public.
• Must be at least 18 years old with 2 years driving experience and a good driving record.
• Knowledge of state motor vehicle laws.
• Ability to pass and maintain a valid DOT physical and medical card.
• Ability to communicate clearly with dispatcher and public.
• Complete shuttle training program.

Responsibilities

• Operate shuttles on established routes according to time schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
• Maintain travel logs, passenger counts, and fuel usage data.
• Report hazardous conditions to dispatcher via two-way radio.
• Fuel and clean vehicle after shift as required.
• Provide input for route and schedule changes and passenger concerns.
• Assist passengers with wheelchair lift or in emergencies as needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
