Job summary

University of the Arts London (UAL) is seeking an experienced College Operations Manager to keep Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon colleges running safely, smoothly and effectively. You will lead an operational portfolio spanning risk and compliance, health and safety, events, staff development, facilities and service improvement.

You’ll deputise for the Head of College Operations and work with academic, estates, finance, communications and professional services colleagues to shape services,

Qualifications

• Experienced operations professional with strong people-management experience.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety, information governance or licensing.
• Proven ability to deliver outcomes while working with multiple stakeholders at different levels of seniority.

Responsibilities

• Lead a broad operational portfolio across CCW campuses, including risk & compliance, health & safety, events, staff development, facilities and service improvement.
• Deputise for the Head of College Operations and collaborate with academic, estates, finance and professional services colleagues.
• Shape how services develop, improve operational systems, and strengthen resilience across campuses.
• Balance immediate priorities with a clear view of the bigger picture and communicate confidently to build relationships.
• Support campus sustainability and estates projects, turning complex challenges into practical solutions.
