Job summary

Cadbury College is seeking a practical Grounds Keeper to maintain and enhance our campus grounds, ensuring a welcoming environment for students, staff, parents and visitors. You will care for trees, shrubs, planters and seasonal planting while supporting the wider Site team during exams and events.

The role requires a current driving licence and the ability to work outdoors in all weather, with strong health and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping or gardening work including seasonal planting and maintenance.
• Current full driving licence required.
• Understanding of safety when working outdoors and using tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Carry out practical groundskeeping duties such as weed control, grass maintenance and seasonal planting.
• Lead on winter maintenance including gritting and cycle route clearance.
• Maintain indoor plants across sites and manage tools and equipment safely.
• Support examinations and college events and travel between sites as needed.
