Job summary

Coleg y Cymoedd is hiring a Grounds Person to maintain the college grounds at Ystrad Mynach Campus on a full-time basis. The role involves operating grass-cutting equipment safely and keeping outdoor spaces well-presented throughout the year.

You will support the Estates & Facilities team and take on key-holding duties, with participation in an out-of-hours rota for intruder and fire alarm call-outs. Some travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Grounds maintenance experience and ability to operate grass-cutting machinery.
• Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours rota for intruder and fire alarms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain College grounds and outdoor spaces to keep campus safe and attractive.
• Support Estates & Facilities team with general Estates duties as required.
• Respond to intruder and fire alarm call-outs as part of the rota.
• Occasional travel to other sites may be required.
