Job summary

Clifton College seeks an proactive Estates Porter to join the Estates team and provide professional portering, logistics and site support across the College estate in Bristol. The role includes furniture moves, event setup, transport services, deliveries, security duties and general estate assistance.

Applicants should hold a full UK driving licence; minibus driving, First Aid and health and safety qualifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-focused environment is desirable.
• Strong commitment to health and safety and a can-do attitude.
• Experience in estates, facilities or site services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional portering, logistics and site support across the College estate.
• Assist with furniture moves, event set-ups, deliveries and transport services.
• Support staff, pupils, visitors and contractors; aid security duties and general estate tasks.
• Prepare examination rooms and support major sporting fixtures; respond to operational needs.
• Manual handling regularly; occasional evening/weekend work and Saturday rota.
