Job summary

The Bedford College Group is seeking an Estates and Facilities Assistant to join the Estates and Facilities team at the Wellingborough campus. You will deliver a full range of estates services including security, maintenance, portering, cleaning and driving to ensure a safe, well-maintained campus environment.

The role involves working across campuses, with flexible cover including weekends and the ability to support wider college activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with the public and young people; willingness to undertake training and health and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Facilities Operations: deliver estates services including security, maintenance, portering, cleaning and driving to ensure a safe, well-maintained campus.
• Security, Safety & Compliance: monitor CCTV, manage building access, support compliance and ID checks.
• Maintenance & Grounds: undertake minor repairs, maintain buildings and grounds, ensure safe access.
