Job summary

GBS is seeking a facilities cleaner for our Manchester campus, on-site, part-time (20 hours). The role maintains clean, hygienic spaces to support students and staff and requires DBS disclosure. You will join a team focused on safety and quality in a busy educational environment.

Experience in commercial cleaning, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, and strong communication are essential. The position offers a generous benefits package and 25 days leave plus holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial premises cleaning.
• Use of professional cleaning products safely.

Responsibilities

• Clean all campus areas to high standards including classrooms, offices, libraries and restrooms.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop floors; polish floors as needed.
• Sanitise surfaces and furniture in high-touch areas.
• Prepare classrooms and arrange furniture as required.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report shortages to Facility Manager.
