Are you looking for a work-life balance whilst living in the most beautiful scenic area within the Peak District, where peace and tranquillity are a given?

Come and join our wonderful team on the outskirts of the village of Longnor, nestled just below the top of a ridge between the Dove and Manifold valleys.

We are seeking a competent, dedicated Single or Couple Wardens to join our growing team at Longnor Wood Holiday Park. We are a 5-star holiday lodge, glamping, camping, and touring site.

You will need your own touring caravan or motorhome to live in while working for us. This position includes your pitch with electric hook-up, free WiFi, and laundry facilities.

Hours of work will be 28-30 per week over 4 days with 2 consecutive days off. There may be a requirement to be on call two or three evenings a week. Peak seasonal hours, holiday cover, and flexibility may be necessary.

About the role:

  • Undertaking 5-star cleaning regimes and turnarounds of accommodation and amenity blocks.
  • Handling telephone booking enquiries promptly and professionally to ensure our guests receive a consistent, informative, and supportive service.
  • Listening to guests to ensure they book the most suitable accommodation for their needs, while maintaining an accurate and up-to-date booking system (basic computing skills essential).
  • Adopting a polite, approachable, professional, and friendly manner for arriving guests, showing them to their pitch/accommodation, and ensuring they have everything needed for a comfortable stay.
  • Providing an on-site presence and evening walk-round if on call to guarantee site security and guest safety and welfare.
  • Highlighting areas for improvement in site standards, processes, or amenities and responding positively to guest feedback, both positive and negative.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks across the site, including joinery, landscaping, plumbing, and electrical basics.
  • Ensuring all standards, safe systems of work, and checklists are followed and completed to meet guest accommodation standards.
  • Working proactively to maintain facilities by identifying areas for improvement and completing all daily tasks and checks promptly.
  • Undertaking 5-star cleaning regimes and turnaround of hot tubs, including daily chemical checks.
