Job summary

The Liberal Democrats in Harpenden and Berkhamsted are seeking a Campaigns Organiser to support local elections. Based in Harpenden with hybrid working, you will coordinate volunteers, design leaflets, arrange doorstep activity and assist with data entry and digital campaigning.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Campaign Team in Harpenden and Berkhamsted in strategic planning and campaign organisation.
• Organise volunteers and local party workers to deliver the campaign plan, by recruiting, training, managing and mobilising volunteers.
• Lead volunteer teams on campaigning activities (doorstep, online, telephone and delivery).
• Ensure delivery of doorstep and telephone voter contact.
• Oversee production of literature per the local plan, both local and constituency wide.
• Build and develop digital campaigning capacity with key volunteers.
• Organise data entry in the online database, ensuring confidentiality and data retention rules.
• Line manage staff and interns where needed.
• Assist the fundraising team to a limited extent.
