Overview

Campaigns and Insight Officer position with Explore Kent, joining a friendly team that loves the outdoors and Kent’s environment.

Responsibilities
  • Create targeted marketing to promote the benefits of being active in green and blue spaces and engaging with nature, as well as promoting active travel, using on and offline channels. Provide a high-quality marketing service and forge excellent relationships with key partners.
  • Leverage Explore Kent’s award-winning digital channels; market by producing creative and engaging content for social media channels and websites, and work with creative agencies as needed.
  • Be an analytical thinker; research available data to produce insight about how and why people access and appreciate Kent’s natural environment.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and customer care skills; work well both under own initiative and as part of a team.
  • This post is based in West Malling with hybrid working from home and KCC offices; occasional evening and weekend work.
Requirements and Additional Information
  • This is a customer-facing position; there is a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
  • Interview date: from 3 December 2025 (tbc).
  • Location: Worrall House, United Kingdom.
  • Salary: £27,852 - £29,716 pro rata
  • Contract: Fixed Term Full Time; Up to 12 months (potential for extension)
  • Working hours: 30 hours per week
