Salary: £41,032 London & South East / £35,193 Outside London & South East

We’re looking for a Campaigns and Content Officer to bring our campaigns to life through engaging, creative, and fresh communication approaches.

With a new government in power, this is a critical time for our countryside and an exciting time to join CPRE, the countryside charity. As our Campaigns and Content Officer, you’ll help develop our public-facing campaigns, coordinate campaign activities and communications.

You’ll work internally with our Policy & Advocacy and Fundraising teams to inspire support for our work. You’ll also collaborate with our network of local CPREs, advocates, organizations, politicians, and civil servants to garner support.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  1. Producing high-quality, creative written content and communications to inspire action for our countryside across various channels, especially web, video, social media, and email.
  2. Developing creative ideas to reach new and existing audiences, utilizing the latest trends and innovations in digital communication.
  3. Collaborating with colleagues in the Policy and Advocacy directorate to develop campaigns, supporter actions, journeys, and engagement opportunities.
  4. Project managing campaigns, including delivery, managing timelines, coordinating with teams, seeking external collaboration, developing messaging, and reporting engagement metrics.
  5. Managing our campaigns inbox and social media feeds, and responding to supporter inquiries.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone feels supported, valued, and able to be themselves. We recognize that diversity enriches our work and helps achieve our vision of a thriving, beautiful countryside for all. We welcome applications from all backgrounds. We especially encourage applications from people of ethnic minority backgrounds and/or disabled individuals, as they are currently underrepresented in the environment, climate, sustainability, and conservation sectors.
