Job Description:

We are seeking to appoint a Campaign Manager working in the Havant Constituency on aone-yearfixed term contract(with the possibility of renewing for at least a second year depending on performance and operational needs).

This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and ambitious individual who thrives on an array of new challenges.

This role demands adaptability, as political and campaign priorities can shift rapidly—so flexibility with working hours is essential.

You’ll need to be hands-on and ready to tackle a wide variety of tasks, from frontline campaigning to essential administrative support. A valid driving license, access to a vehicle, and residence within or near the local constituency are required

What will you do as a Campaign Manager?

Every day is different — that is what makes the job interesting. But you can expect to:

  • Build relationships with elected representatives, including councillors and MPs
  • Exercise your creativity by producing leaflets and bespoke social media content
  • Support your candidates’ and elected representatives’ presence on social media by building and growing local organic social media distribution channels
  • Create winning campaign teams made up of enthusiastic volunteers
  • Develop a voter contact programme, speaking with people face and face and over the phone
  • Developing new strategies for increasing reach and engagement with local communities
  • Ensure Polling Day activities run smoothly

What skills do you need to be a Campaign Manager?

  • Be a self-starter
  • Be well organised, professional and punctual
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to lead and motivate colleagues and activists
  • Be able to work as part of a team and on your own as needed
