Job summary

Royal Museums Greenwich invites applications for a Campaign Manager, First Light, to deliver the fundraising drive for a major capital project at the Royal Observatory Greenwich. You will lead events, donor engagement, and campaign communications to meet targets.

Working in a hybrid role, you will coordinate gala dinners, travel to the USA in 2027, and manage multi-stakeholder relationships while maintaining high standards of planning and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and delivering events.
• Excellent organisational skills across multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to work well in teams and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the First Light fundraising campaign to agreed objectives and timescales.
• Create fundraising materials and webpages; deliver a successful public fundraising campaign.
• Oversee campaign communications for all stakeholders; co-lead a gala fundraising dinner in 2027.
• Coordinate major donor meetings and events; manage a fundraising trip to the USA in 2027.
• Demonstrate sound planning and organisational ability; maintain high teamwork standards to deliver impact.
