The Role…
Reporting into the Publishing Systems Manager, the PS Engineer is responsible for the support and development of the publishing system environment, working with end users to maximise the effectiveness of the censhare system through configuration, training and knowledge sharing. Supporting all aspects of the Magazine creative workflow including print and digital outputs.
Managing and developing the back-end Linux and Windows servers (AWS) to ensure availability and cost effectiveness are maximised. Configuration and maintenance of the OneVision Workspace (Asura & Amendo) automation systems & configuration and user support for the Monotype desktop app font management solution.
It is a crucial role working with the system providers (Censhare, Onevision, Monotype and AWS), and the Hearst technology services department (HTS), to ensure that the system remains at optimum performance at all times.
