Job description

Join our activity team at Camp Beaumont and play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable experiences for children. You will be part of a team delivering exceptional day camp programs and monitoring the well-being of our young camp members.

About the role:

You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of children aged 5 and over, as well as staff, using the swimming pool at a multi-activity day camp for children aged 3 to 14 during summer and school holiday weekdays. This includes enforcing the swimming pool code of conduct to ensure safe swim sessions.

You also have the option to join our Group Leaders in leading additional activities such as archery, football, tennis, dance, arts and crafts, and more!

About you:
  • Over 18 years old
  • Hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
  • Available to work during the school holidays
  • Be a UK/EU citizen with 2 right to work IDs
  • Have initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Awareness of safeguarding children (training will be provided)
