We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a CAMO Quality Management Specialist to oversee CAMO activities via the CAMO Quality system and ensure compliance with Airworthiness standards.

Job Details
  • Title: CAMO Quality Manager (MAA)
  • Location: Birmingham Airport
  • Type: Full-time, Mon-Fri, Onsite
  • Rate: Competitive (Umbrella), Inside IR35
  • Contract: ASAP start, approximately 18 months, renewable
Scope of Role
  • Ensure competence of CAMO personnel
  • Verify CAMO tasks, processes, and procedures
  • Ensure CAME compliance with regulations
  • Conduct CAMO audits
  • Maintain compliance with MAA approval for Military CAM
Responsibilities
  • Monitor Mil CAMO activities per RA 4900 - 4974 (MRP Part M)
  • Validate procedures and changes in CAME
  • Perform sampling and checks
  • Coordinate with maintenance, delivery teams, and CAMO activities
  • Conduct annual compliance checks, including subcontracted activities
  • Manage AWE submissions and compliance
  • Audit maintenance activities for airworthiness
Contracted Maintenance Assurance
  • Monitor subcontracted CAMO tasks with documented agreements
  • Define responsibilities, personnel, and communication processes
  • Reference in CAME
  • Arrange regular corrective action meetings with key managers

  • Aircraft Programmes Internal Auditor
  • Human Factors
  • AS9100D / AS9110C Auditor
  • MRP Part 145 (MAOS)
  • Electrostatic Device standards
  • Understanding Defence CAMO Regulations
  • DAOS Surveillance Audits
  • SharePoint Training
  • UK MAA Regulatory Framework
  • Part M CAMO experience
  • Lead Auditor
Additional Requirements

The successful candidate must hold or be capable of obtaining UK security clearance (SC). Applicants must be UK citizens and ideally already hold SC clearance.
