Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced CAMO Manager to lead our client's Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) function. This is a unique opportunity designed as a pathway to the Nominated Postholder for Continuing Airworthiness, subject to CAA/EASA/competent authority approval.

This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in maintaining the airworthiness of Volare’s managed fleet and ensuring safety and compliance.

The CAMO Manager will oversee aircraft airworthiness, maintenance planning, and compliance with regulations, while managing the CAMO team and coordinating with stakeholders.

The role offers a progression pathway towards a Deputy CAM and eventually the CAM Nominated Postholder position.

Role Requirements:

MUST:

  • Right to live and work in UK
  • Ideally within 60 mins of LOA
  • Part 66 licensed engineer or aeronautical degree with 5+ years' airworthiness management experience, or 10+ years in the field (fixed wing experience mandatory)
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a CAMO or airworthiness environment
  • Strong understanding of Part CAMO, Part 145, and SMS
  • Methodical with attention to detail
  • Leadership skills with team development experience
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively
  • Proficiency in CAMP software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Financial awareness for cost-effective maintenance planning
  • DBS Security Clearance and eligibility for SC Clearance
  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience in airworthiness activities

COULD:

  • Aviation Human Factors training and Part CAMO & Part 145 courses
  • Eligibility for airworthiness reviews per 2-REG, EASA, FAA, UK CAA
  • Experience as Nominated Person (Form 4 Holder)
  • Rotary aircraft experience
