Our contract at Brize Norton with the MOD states we will provide a continuous service to cover 24 hours, 7 days a week and 365 days a year to the Royal Air Force, to maintain and ensure airworthiness of their fleet of aircraft.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated A400M CAMO Planning Engineer to join our Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) team.

As a CAMO Planning Engineer, you will be a critical part of our airworthiness management operations, ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance and airworthiness of the A400M fleet.

This position will require strong technical expertise, planning skills, and a collaborative approach to liaising with multiple teams and stakeholders.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

Maintenance Planning: Develop, oversee, and execute maintenance plans for the A400M fleet. Ensure all scheduled maintenance, repairs, and modifications are coordinated and carried out in compliance with airworthiness and safety standards.

Workscope Management: Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and logistics teams to define, approve, and coordinate scopes of work for A400M maintenance events. Maintain optimal fleet availability and reliability through proactive planning and scheduling.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant aviation regulations, including EASA Part M and Part CAMO, as well as company and manufacturer requirements. Maintain a continuous focus on compliance and safety for all planning activities.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records and documentation for all maintenance activities, modifications, and inspections as required by regulatory authorities and internal policies. Generate reports on maintenance forecasts, fleet status, and operational performance for senior management and regulatory bodies.

Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders, including maintenance providers, parts suppliers, regulatory authorities, and operational teams. Maintain effective communication to ensure all parties are aligned on maintenance schedules and requirements.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, reduce turnaround times, and increase fleet availability and performance. Implement best practices in maintenance planning and seek out new tools or methodologies to enhance efficiency.

ABOUT YOU

Experience in maintenance planning within an aviation CAMO environment

An understanding of aviation regulations (EASA Part M, Part CAMO, or MAA Part M), maintenance planning, and airworthiness principles, particularly as they apply to large military transport aircraft.

Experience with maintenance management software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of specialized CAMO planning tools is an advantage.
