Job summary

A leading health care provider in Brighton is seeking a committed Ward Manager for a mental health clinic. The role involves managing day-to-day operations, leading the nursing team, and ensuring high-quality care for young people with eating disorders. Candidates must be qualified Registered Nurses with a valid NMC Pin and possess CAMHS experience or strong interest. Qualifications

  • Qualified as a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
  • CAMHS Eating Disorder experience or a strong interest in the area.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day operational delivery and quality of care.
  • Provide leadership to the nursing team and encourage teamwork.
  • Oversee that care is delivered in line with best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Plan staffing levels to ensure optimum skill-mix.

Skills

CAMHS Eating Disorder experience or strong interest
Excellent written and verbal communication
Understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards
Experience in supervising practice in line with NMC
Knowledge of CQUIN and NICE guidance

Education

Registered Nurse with valid NMC Pin
