The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist (CAMHS) to join our visiting consultant team. Role Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert psychiatric assessments and treatment for Children and Adolescents.

  3. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, therapists, and nursing staff.
  4. Engage in clinical governance and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  5. Participate in on-call rotations, ensuring continuous high-quality care.
  6. Foster relationships with external stakeholders and maintain a network of professional contacts.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.
  8. Commit to ongoing professional development and meet Revalidation requirements.

Candidate Profile:
  1. Full GMC registration with specialist registration in psychiatry.
  2. Extensive experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  3. Strong knowledge of Clinical Governance and adherence to regulatory frameworks.
  4. Successful completion of an enhanced DBS check, provided by The Priory.
