We currently have a 12-month fixed-term/secondment vacancy for a Band 6 Clinical Practitioner to join the RISE Crisis Acute Liaison Team based within the A&E department at UHCW during this pilot service period. We are seeking clinicians with CAMHS crisis/acute experience who are motivated to make a real difference.

Role Overview: As a Clinical Practitioner within the RISE urgent care umbrella, you will assess children and young people referred to the service, collaborating closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure coordinated, holistic, and effective care pathways.
Experience in CAMHS crisis or acute care
Strong assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care
This is a fixed-term 12-month vacancy (12-month duration).
Pay scheme: Agenda for Change, Band 6, Salary £38,682 to £46,580 per year, Pro Rota
Working pattern: Part-time, Flexible working
Location: Whitestone Clinic / UHCW Coventry CED, Magyar Creasant, Nuneaton, CV11 4SG
Professional registration: Current UK professional registration in nursing, social work, occupational therapy or equivalent-specific registration.
Knowledge and skills: Excellent written communications skills.
Experience: Range of skills across practice areas, experience in mental health, multidisciplinary teamwork, and clinical risk assessment.
Other: Must hold a current driving licence and have independent means of transport.
