Priory Wellbeing Centre Canterbury is seeking a CAMHS therapist to support our ASC pathway structure. Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience with young people, hold relevant qualifications, and be adept in therapeutic practices. Job description

Priory Wellbeing Centre Canterbury is conveniently situated right in the heart of Canterbury’s city centre, within the grounds of the City Wall and within easy access to localities and public transport. Our expert team are able to deliver established outpatient treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress, addictions and eating disorders. We provide high quality support to adults, young people, older people, couples and families, offering practical, effective therapeutic services to all of our service users.
We are currently seeking a CAMHS therapist, ADOS trained to support our CAMHS ASC pathway structure. The applicant will be part of a team assessing young people to ensure a high quality and relevant service.

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
Minimum 2 years’ experience working with young people in a relevant setting
An ability to think and work systemically when assessing a young person (i.e. consideration of family and school influences)
Preferably a relevant qualification for working with young people
A working knowledge of neurodiversity
Actively working with young people in therapy practice, including clinical supervision for this group

You will be required to hold a full UK accreditation.

There is an opportunity to offer 1 to 1 therapy, either remotely or face-to-face to our CAMHs service users alongside supporting the ASC CAMHS pathway.

This is an opportunity for those looking to expand their current role to offer private work within an organisation renowned for it's excellence in providing a diverse range of mental health services.

The applicant would be required to be flexible in order to accommodate after-school hours and Saturday mornings if demand requires.

The role would require good computer skills and an adaptability to learning new systems for our patient record system and booking system. Full training will be provided on all our systems.
