Job summary

Priory Hospital Roehampton, in South West London, is looking for a CAMHS Therapist to join our specialist mental health and addiction rehabilitation service. You will provide high-quality therapeutic support to young people, delivering tailored interventions that promote their mental, emotional, physical and social wellbeing.

You will manage your own caseload, deliver individual and group therapy, and work closely with families, carers and the MDT to support positive outcomes and recovery.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Integrative Therapy or CBT with post-qualification experience in CAMHS settings.
• Experience with children and young people in inpatient and/or outpatient CAMHS.
• Accreditation with a relevant professional body is required or in progress with a 12‑month completion window.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload and deliver individual and group therapeutic interventions tailored to each young person.
• Complete referrals and initial assessments.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions.
• Review caseload and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Contribute to case conferences and patient reviews.
• Work with MDT, families and carers to support recovery.
• Support clinical audits, research and service development; ensure regulatory standards.

Full-time | 37.5 hours per week

Priory Hospital Roehampton, in South West London, is looking for a CAMHS Therapist to join our specialist mental health and addiction rehabilitation service. In this role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic support to young people, delivering tailored interventions that promote their mental, emotional, physical and social wellbeing. You will work closely with young people, their families and carers, and colleagues across the multidisciplinary team to support positive outcomes and recovery.

What you’ll be doing

As a CAMHS Therapist, you will manage your own caseload and deliver individual and group therapeutic interventions tailored to each young person’s needs.

• Complete referrals and initial assessments.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions.
• Manage and review your caseload.
• Maintain accurate clinical records.
• Contribute to case conferences and patient reviews.
• Work closely with the MDT, families and carers.
• Support clinical audits, research and service development.
• Ensure practice meets professional and regulatory standards.

What you’ll bring to the role

Applicants should be qualified in Integrative Therapy or CBT, with additional training and/or experience working with children and young people (CYP). Applicants should have post-qualification experience within CAMHS mental health settings, including inpatient and/ou outpatient services.

Accreditation: (if required for the role)

Accreditation with a relevant professional body is required. If the accreditation body is National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), Senior Accreditation is required; otherwise, candidates must be working towards the required level of accreditation. In certain circumstances, we may consider applicants who are working towards accreditation, provided this can be completed within 12 months of appointment.
