Job summary

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust is seeking a CAMHS clinician to develop skills in systemic family practice. The post includes enrolment in a 12-month CYP-IAPT diploma starting February 2027, with a full-time commitment and placement across Worcester, Kidderminster or Redditch.

You will work within CAMHS and Family Therapy, hold a caseload, and attend MDT meetings while receiving supervision from a qualified family therapist.

Qualifications

• Experience in mental health settings with CYPs (children and young people).
• Ability to work within CAMHS and family therapy frameworks.
• Awareness of professional guidelines (NMC/HCPC).

Responsibilities

• Hold a caseload of patients with varying complexity in CAMHS.
• Participate in MDT meetings and liaise with partner agencies.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage safeguarding responsibilities.
• Work with supervision and maintain clinical oversight within the MDT.
