Job summary

Priory Hospital Cheadle is seeking a UKCP registered Family Therapist to join our CAMHS unit in Manchester. You will deliver tailored family and systemic therapy, contribute to patient recovery and work within an established clinical team on an inpatient service for young people and adults.

The role requires a Masters in Family/Systemic Psychotherapy, UKCP registration, and post-qualification mental health experience. DBS checks are required, and Priory covers DBS costs.

Qualifications

• Master’s-level qualification in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy (typically a 4-year qualifying course).
• UKCP registration via an approved route (e.g., AFSP/IFSP or College of Family, Couple and Systemic Therapy).
• Post-qualification experience in mental health settings, including inpatient and/or outpatient services.

Responsibilities

• Receive referrals and undertake initial assessments to determine therapeutic needs.
• Lead and facilitate group and/or individual therapy sessions.
• Manage, monitor and review an assigned caseload within agreed timescales.
