At Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust (GHC), we provide joined-up mental health, physical health and learning disability services to people of all ages across Gloucestershire.

This vacancy is for both Gloucester and Cheltenham bases as there is more than one post. Preference will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.

Gloucestershire CAMHS is a large service made up of a number of teams. This vacancy is recruiting for Core CAMHS who work with children and families with severe to moderate mental health needs.

The core CAMHS Team works in a busy and dynamic environment, and we pride ourselves on being leaders in delivering high-quality compassionate care to children and young people, while protecting and promoting staff well-being and development.

Would you like to work with children, young people and their families? Do you:

  • Already have experience and skills in working with this group (ideally within a CAMHS setting) and are looking for a new opportunity?
  • Have experience working with adults in mental health settings and would like the opportunity to transfer these skills to working with this rewarding age group?
  • Or are you newly qualified or about to qualify as a registered practitioner and are interested in developing your skills working with children, young people and their families?

We are holding an online event on Thursday 13th February 2024 12pm-1pm, where you will be able to learn more about the CAMHS Team and have the opportunity to ask questions about the role and team.
