Job Description:

Belmont Recruitment are currently in search of a CAMHS Registered CBT Therapist / Psychologist (Clinical/Counselling)Band 7-8a to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service based out of Bedford in Bedfordshire. The role is Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, however there is scope for flexibility so applicants who cannot work full time are still encouraged to apply, this is initially on an ongoing locum however this will most likely be made permanent.

The post-holder will oversee the formulation, treatment and management plans for parents, children and young people being treated by the practitioners using a range of specialist psychological interventions appropriate to the service; individual and group. This role involves maintaining a small caseload providing brief interventions to compliment and consolidate practitioner interventions, acting as a service senior link to designated schools, overseeing the work of the allocated practitioner and providing case consultation and signposting.

The pay rate for this locum role is between £28.60- £36.60 per hour dependant on experience, however this is open for negotiation for someone with years of experience.
