This is a part-time opportunity for an experienced CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist to join a supportive and experienced team providing Tier 4 inpatient services to young people with eating disorders at Brighton and Hove Clinic, a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 12 up to 18 years.
As a CAMHS Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload as the Responsible Clinician of the ward, participating in the assessment and management of children and young people referred to the Service, assessing physical health, and ensuring completion of professional reports. You will also act as the Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act, attend CETRs when needed, provide leadership and supervision to the team, and participate in the CAMHS Consultant on-call rota.
