Job summary

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is expanding its CAMHS team and invites applications for a Community CAMHS Mental Health Worker. You will manage a caseload of young people with complex mental health needs and deliver a range of evidence-based therapies.

The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, regular clinical supervision, and opportunities for professional development within CAMHS pathways. Flexible and remote working options may be available.

Qualifications

• Post–qualification experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health or relevant setting.
• Experience in a wide range of therapeutic interventions and assessments.
• Ability to manage a caseload autonomously and work with mixed professional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of complex young people with moderate to severe mental health needs.
• Carry out routine assessments and develop collaborative care plans.
• Offer first level therapeutic interventions and screen for neurodevelopmental issues.
• Refer internally as needed and provide regular supervision within CAMHS pathways.
