Join a dynamic team as a Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner at a leading health and social care organization. You will provide essential mental health support to children and young people, working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team. We are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and creative Band 6 CAMHS Practitioners to join our Core CAMHS Team.
We are a multi-disciplinary team offering a diverse range of professional approaches, including Family Therapy, Nursing, Occupational therapy. Psychology, Psychotherapy, Psychiatry, Social work, and Mental health Practitioners. We work with young people with who are experiencing moderate to severe emotional, behavioural, or mental health difficulties. As a team we believe that service user participation and feedback is an integral part of the development and delivery of services and supports care which is person centred and inclusive.
You will have a strong team work ethic, the ability to work autonomously, hold personal accountability and work well under pressure. You will have access to regular individual and group clinical supervision, CPD opportunities within and outside of the service, and the support of a robust and supportive multidisciplinary team. You will also be required to support the team to ensure the smooth running and organisation of the service, contributing towards research, evaluation, and service development, to ensure care is responsive, effective, and equitable.
As a CAMHS practitioner, you will be mainly working within a clinical setting in our out-patient clinic although in order meet the needs of our children and young people you may also be required to provide support within other environments such as home, education or community settings.
Your role will be to deliver excellent quality care which empowers children and young people, supports them in their recovery journey and enables them to contribute towards the development of services and care planning. You will work as an integral member for the CAMHS locality team, providing assessments, interventions and care coordination to children, young people, families, and carers. You will have a positive approach to the delivery of care which values working creatively and flexibly in partnership with service users, their networks and the wider professional networks.
