We are currently working with a local NHS Trust seeking a Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to join their team in Romford for an initial 3-month contract.

What’s on offer:

• Working hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00
• Contract length: 3 months, with the possibility of extension
• Location: Community-based in Romford
• Rate of pay: £26 per hour (Umbrella)
• Start: ASAP

Key responsibilities:

• Undertaking assessments and brief interventions within CAMHS triage.
• Providing clinical supervision to junior staff, ensuring effective assessment and triage of children and young people requiring mental health interventions.
• Operating within a multidisciplinary team to deliver brief interventions to children and young people with emotional wellbeing needs, including routine and urgent risk cases.

To be eligible, you must be a registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC pin and have experience working within CAMHS.
