Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde invites applications for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist in Renfrewshire CAMHS. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team and manage a caseload, delivering assessment, intervention and group work.

The post is a fixed-term, 1 year, full-time, with a 9–5 pattern. Base location is Aranthrue Centre. Emphasis on CPD, professional development and flexible working where service needs allow.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration essential.
• Independently work to set clinical priorities in mental health services.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to Occupational Therapy.
• Specialist knowledge of OT assessments, interventions and outcome measures.

Responsibilities

• Work within Renfrewshire CAMHS multi-agency structure.
• Independently manage a caseload of complex cases as care manager/key worker as required.
• Assess occupational needs using specialist skills and implement, grade and evaluate appropriate treatment programmes with risk assessment.
• Assess service users to determine need for OT intervention using client-centred practice.
• Collaborate with service users to identify goals as part of the care plan using standardised tools.
