Job summary

Position Details
  • Location: Barking
  • Working Hours: Full-time (2 WTE)
  • Start Date: 20/09/2022
Responsibilities
  • Carry out triage for young people and children referred to CAMHS
  • Confidently conduct mental state examinations during assessments
  • Provide leadership and promote initiative, creativity, and motivation within CAMHS
  • Manage own caseload effectively
Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered with the NMC
  • Experience working with children and young people with emotional and mental health difficulties
  • Experience in mental health assessments, care planning, and risk management
  • Substantial CAMHS/EWMHS clinical experience
  • Health Visiting qualification (preferred)
Job Requirements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Immediate availability to start
  • Availability for various shift patterns
  • Minimum of 6 months UK NHS Trust or Care Home experience
  • Up-to-date PMVA/Breakaway/MAPA training
  • Ability to provide UK references, immunisation report, and valid NMC pin
