Job summary

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust in Leicester is seeking an experienced Non-medical Prescriber (NMP) to join the CAMHS Outpatients Pathway. The post involves mental health assessments for CYP, diagnosis, initiation of treatment, and management of a medication caseload.

Working within a MDT, you will supervise colleagues, run nurse-led clinics, monitor and review medications, and contribute to staff development. Flexible hours and a driving license are noted as requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualified and experienced as a non-medical prescriber/pharmacist prescriber.
• Band 7 nurse with NHS CAMHS experience.
• Ability to supervise and develop other team members.
• Excellent mental health assessment and risk assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake mental health assessments for CYP within CAMHS outpatients.
• Manage a medication caseload and monitor safe prescribing.
• Lead nurse-led clinics and provide clinical supervision.
• Collaborate with Consultants, Doctors, Nurses, Psychologists and other MDT members.
• Support integrated delivery of high-quality care.
