Job Description:

Belmont Recruitment is currently seeking a CAMHS Mental Health Social Worker, Therapist, Psychologist, or Psychiatric Nurse (RMN/CPN/Art/CBT/Psycho/Occupational/Clinical/Counselling) at Band 5/6/7/8A to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service based in Newham, Greater London.

The role is Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, with flexibility encouraged for part-time applicants. This is initially a locum position, with potential for permanency.

We seek highly motivated and skilled mental health professionals to work with young people experiencing mental health issues in the community. You should possess excellent liaison and communication skills, with a thorough understanding of risk assessment and planning in home and community settings.

This role provides outreach crisis support to CYP and their families, alongside core CAMHS care coordination. Responsibilities include supporting CAMHS assessment and treatment pathways, conducting assessments at local hospitals, and delivering interventions.

The pay rate ranges from £21.71 to £39.71 per hour, depending on experience, with room for negotiation for highly experienced candidates.
